UAE Announces Waiver of Traffic Fines for Omani Citizens

Abu Dhabi: In a gesture of goodwill and diplomatic collaboration, the UAE has announced the waiver of all traffic violations incurred by Omani citizens from 2018 to 2023. This decision comes in the wake of the recent visit by Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman to the UAE on Monday, April 22.

During his visit, Sultan Haitham engaged in discussions with President His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, focusing on the enduring, historical, and fraternal ties between the UAE and Oman. The leaders emphasized the importance of cooperation across various sectors to advance the mutual interests of both nations and fulfill the aspirations of their peoples.
