UAE: A new partnership has announced direct flights from Fujairah to Cairo.

Starting in July, travelers will have the opportunity to book direct flights from Fujairah to Cairo, Egypt's bustling capital, as announced by the emirate's international airport. Under the newly established partnership between Fujairah Airport administration and Egypt's renowned state-owned flag carrier, Egyptair, two flights per week will operate between the two cities, specifically on Sundays and Thursdays.

This initiative aligns with Fujairah Airport's commitment to expanding travel options to and from the emirate, catering to the increasing demand for both local and regional travel. Captain Ismail Al Balushi, the director-general of Fujairah International Airport, emphasized the significance of this step in enhancing the overall travel experience for passengers, emphasizing the importance of swift clearance procedures and ensuring passenger comfort.

This announcement follows a previous initiative in July, wherein Fujairah Airport unveiled plans to connect the emirate with 18 additional destinations through collaboration with Oman's SalamAir.
