Trump Unveils High-Top Sneaker Line Following $350m Court Ruling

Former U.S. President Donald Trump, a prominent Republican contender for the 2024 presidential race, has introduced his own line of sneakers, branded as "Trump Sneakers."

Debuting the collection at Sneaker Con in Philadelphia, Trump expressed his longstanding desire for this venture, anticipating its success due to collaboration with talented individuals. He shared his aspiration to connect with his younger self through the sneaker line during the launch event.

The "Trump Sneakers" line comprises three distinct designs: gold high-tops labeled "never surrender high top sneaker" priced at $399, red laceless athletic shoes, and white laceless athletic shoes featuring a "T" and the number 45, priced at $199. Each purchase includes extra laces and a Trump "superhero charm."

Coinciding with a New York judge ordering Trump to pay $354.9 million in penalties for fraudulent overstatements of his net worth, the sneaker launch is managed by CIC Ventures LLC, licensed to use Trump's name, image, and likeness.

The sneaker website also offers perfume and cologne for sale, unrelated to the Trump Organisation or his presidential campaign.

While some greeted the shoe launch with excitement, Trump faced a mix of cheers and boos during the announcement at Sneaker Con.
