Abu Dhabi, UAE – 19 January 2026: Repton Abu Dhabi, the distinguished British Curriculum School on Al Reem Island, is delighted to announce the appointment of Mrs. Tracy Crowder-Cloe as its new Principal, effective from the start of the 2026/2027 academic year.

Mrs. Crowder-Cloe is a highly accomplished educational leader with over 25 years of executive experience in both the UK and the UAE. Renowned for fostering innovation, driving academic excellence, and creating globally minded learning environments, she has a proven track record of supporting the growth of students and staff alike. Her leadership style blends high expectations with compassion, nurturing creativity and inspiring learners to think beyond borders.

Having previously served on the Repton Abu Dhabi Board of Directors and as Vice Principal and Head of Senior School at Repton Dubai (2019–2023), Mrs. Crowder-Cloe has extensive experience within the Repton Family of Schools. At Repton Dubai, she directed the strategic vision of the Senior School, Sixth Form, and Boarding, improving academic outcomes, operational delivery, and student wellbeing. More recently, she served as Principal of Cranleigh Abu Dhabi, where she led major initiatives including opening a new Pre-Prep campus and advancing professional development programs.

Her active engagement with the UAE Ministry of Education and national leadership forums enables her to contribute significantly to strategic governance and the broader development of education in the UAE. Academically, Mrs. Crowder-Cloe holds a Master’s in Educational Leadership, a National Professional Qualification for Headship, and has served as Designated National Leader of Education with the UK Department for Education.

Commenting on her new role, Mrs. Crowder-Cloe said:
"It is an honour to return to the Repton Family of Schools as Principal of Repton Abu Dhabi. The school’s commitment to character development, personalised learning, and nurturing every student resonates deeply with my values. I look forward to collaborating with students, parents, and staff to build on the school’s strengths and shape its next chapter, ensuring Repton Abu Dhabi remains a place where opportunity, aspiration, and care define daily life."

Mr. Glen Radojkovich, Managing Director, Cognita UAE, added:
"We are thrilled to welcome Mrs. Crowder-Cloe as Principal. Her extensive international leadership experience, commitment to academic excellence, and alignment with the Repton ethos make her exceptionally well-suited to lead the school forward."

To ensure a smooth transition, Mr. Stephen Davis will serve as Interim Principal for the remainder of the 2025–2026 academic year. Having been with the school for six years, he brings deep knowledge and steady leadership to maintain continuity for students and staff.

Mr. Steven Lupton, who stepped down at the end of Term 1, leaves a legacy of academic achievement and community growth. He will continue his journey within the Cognita family as Head of the Australian International School in Singapore.

Repton Abu Dhabi offers world-class British education for students aged 3–18, delivering IGCSE and A-level programmes in a modern, culturally inclusive environment. Mrs. Crowder-Cloe’s appointment marks a significant milestone, as her global leadership expertise and visionary approach will guide the school to new heights of excellence and innovation.
