Timothée Chalamet reacts to Bob Dylan’s praise for biopic role

Bob Dylan has shown full support for Timothée Chalamet playing him in the new movie A Complete Unknown, which will come out on Christmas Day. Dylan, a famous musician from the 1960s, shared his thoughts about the movie and the actor on social media.

Dylan said, “There’s a movie about me coming soon called A Complete Unknown (what a title!). Timothee Chalamet is playing the lead role. Timmy’s a great actor, so I’m sure he’ll do a great job as me. Or a younger version of me. Or some other version of me.”

The movie is directed by James Mangold and is about Bob Dylan’s life in 1961, when he was just 19 years old. Dylan moved to New York City with only his guitar and big dreams. The film is based on a book by Elijah Wald called Dylan Goes Electric! The book talks about the time when Dylan switched from folk music to rock music, which caused a lot of people to argue. The movie will show Dylan’s famous performance with an electric guitar at the Newport Folk Festival in 1965. Dylan liked the book and said it told the story well. He also suggested that people read the book after watching the movie to understand what happened at that time.

Timothée Chalamet, who is known for his roles in movies like Dune and Call Me by Your Name, said that he feels connected to Dylan’s story.
