In a tragic incident in Suryapet district, Telangana, two men and a 12-year-old girl lost their lives after drowning in a lake near Bopparam village. The incident occurred on the outskirts of Bopparam village within Atmakur police station limits on Wednesday.
The victims were attending a birthday party in the village when the unfortunate incident took place. The deceased have been identified as Tippareddy Sripalreddy, aged 42, a builder from Khammam, and his friend Shavalya Raju, aged 45, a software professional from Narsaraopet, Andhra Pradesh. Also among the deceased was Shavalya Raju's daughter, Shavalya Usha, a 12-year-old student.

According to the local police, the bodies of the victims have been shifted to Suryapet District Hospital for post-mortem examinations. This tragic event has deeply saddened the local community, and authorities are conducting investigations to ascertain the exact circumstances that led to the drowning.
