Under the auspices of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the inaugural Global Rail Transport Infrastructure Exhibition & Conference (Global Rail) 2024 commenced in Abu Dhabi. Sheikh Theyab bin Mohamed bin Zayed, Deputy Chairman of the Presidential Court and Chairman of Etihad Rail, led the event, which runs from October 8-10 at the ADNEC Centre.

The exhibition features over 1,000 attendees from around the world, alongside 300 exhibitors and 50 international delegations. It aims to position the UAE as a key player in global transport and logistics, emphasizing advancements in rail infrastructure.
Keynote speakers included prominent ministers discussing innovative transport policies and strategies for enhancing rail development. The event is expected to attract 22,000 attendees and facilitate strategic dialogue among leaders in the transport sector. Additionally, it will highlight cutting-edge technologies and finance opportunities to foster collaboration in the rail industry, setting a transformative course for future infrastructure development.
The three-day exhibition includes various conferences and discussions on topics like multimodal connectivity, sustainability, and the integration of technology in transportation. Global Rail 2024 is anticipated to significantly impact the rail sector, providing a platform for collaboration and innovation among global leaders.
