UK-born Carlo Acutis, who succumbed to leukemia in 2006, is poised to become the Catholic Church's inaugural "millennial saint." Hailing from London, he demonstrated exceptional computer prowess, crafting websites to disseminate Catholic teachings. Posthumously dubbed "God's influencer," Acutis's mortal remains, alongside his possessions, were laid to rest in Italy, where he resided with his family.

His journey toward sainthood gained momentum when a seven-year-old Brazilian boy purportedly experienced recovery from a rare pancreatic illness upon touching one of Acutis's t-shirts, coupled with intercessory prayers by a priest. This healing, endorsed by the Pope as miraculous, marked the first requisite miracle for sainthood.

Pope Francis recently endorsed a second miracle linked to Acutis. It involved a university student in Florence, critically injured in a bicycle mishap, whose condition dramatically improved following prayers at Acutis's tomb. Days later, her brain injury vanished, leading to her recovery.

Acutis's canonization is exceptional, as he is the sole individual born in the 1990s to attain this status. Notably, the last person canonized by Pope Francis was born in 1926.

From early childhood, Acutis displayed remarkable piety. His mother recounted his altruistic gestures, such as donating pocket money to churches at the tender age of three. Acutis's self-taught coding skills were directed towards developing websites, including one cataloging global miracles, now accessible in multiple languages.
