Suqia UAE launches 'Gift Water to Mosques' community initiative

The UAE Water Aid Foundation (Suqia UAE) has launched a new community initiative called "Gift Water to Mosques." This initiative is in partnership with the Islamic Affairs & Charitable Activities Department, Mai Dubai, and Moro Hub. The program's goal is to allow both individuals and organizations to donate water, which will then be distributed to mosques in Dubai.

Suqia UAE, which has been active for the past 10 years, is part of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Global Initiatives Foundation (MBRGI). Throughout these years, Suqia UAE has launched several programs and initiatives aimed at helping build a supportive society. These programs provide opportunities for people to help those in need and to create a stronger, more connected community.

The new initiative aligns with the values of giving and kindness, which are deeply rooted in UAE culture and Islamic teachings. It also fits with the UAE's "Year of Community," under the theme "Hand in Hand." This year’s theme encourages people to work together to support one another.

Saeed Mohammed Al Tayer, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Suqia UAE, explained that the initiative aims to bring people closer together, fostering unity and brotherhood. By offering water to mosques, the initiative hopes to strengthen the bonds among different groups within society.

People who want to contribute can donate water through Suqia UAE’s website or smart app, which is available for download on both Android and iOS devices. The initiative makes it easy for anyone to get involved and make a positive impact in their community.
