Motorists traveling along Al Khail Road in Dubai during the early hours of the morning were met with heavy rainfall, creating challenging driving conditions. The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued alerts for anticipated light rain in Barsha and Expo areas of Dubai. Meanwhile, residents in Sharjah experienced an unusual start to their weekend as they woke up to overcast skies, a departure from the typical sunny weather. Videos captured by KT journalist Muhammad Sajjad showcased the rainy scenes in the emirate. Despite the early hour, some adventurous residents ventured outdoors to savor the breathtaking views and refreshing temperatures brought about by the rain. The NMC's alerts for Abu Dhabi signaled the onset of unstable weather, which gradually spread across the country. With weekend plans potentially impacted, the NCM
forecasts a general pattern of partly cloudy skies, with intermittent rainfall likely in coastal and western regions. Winds are anticipated to be variable, ranging from light to moderate, occasionally picking up in strength. Sea conditions are expected to be slight to moderate in the Arabian Gulf and slight in the Oman Sea. Temperatures are forecasted to range from a cool 15ºC in inland areas to a warmer high of 37ºC elsewhere.
