His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defence of the UAE, and Chairman of The Executive Council of Dubai, attended the graduation ceremony of the latest cohort of the Master’s Degree in International Business Law Executive Leadership Program. This prestigious program is offered by the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas in collaboration with the DIFC Academy.

During the ceremony, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre, Sheikh Hamdan highlighted the continued efforts of Dubai to enhance its higher education infrastructure and offer world-class academic programs. He attributed this progress to the vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, which has been instrumental in shaping Dubai’s educational and developmental goals. His Highness emphasized that Dubai is working towards being ranked among the top 10 cities globally for the quality of education by the year 2033, a key objective outlined in the Dubai Social Agenda 33.
In a significant announcement during the event, Sheikh Hamdan revealed that scholarships would be provided for graduates of the Mohammed Bin Rashid Center for Leadership Development (MBRCLD). These scholarships will enable the graduates to enroll in the Master’s Degree in International Business Law Executive Leadership Program offered by the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas. This initiative is designed to bolster the legal and business acumen of these graduates, empowering them to tackle legal challenges in the international marketplace and contribute more effectively to institutions operating in global markets.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, His Highness personally awarded the Master’s degrees to the graduates and posed for commemorative photos with the new cohort.
The Master’s Degree in International Business Law Executive Leadership Program, launched in 2018, was established through a strategic partnership between the DIFC Academy and the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas. Known for being one of Europe’s and the world’s top academic institutions, the university offers a broad curriculum designed to cultivate leadership skills in the legal and regulatory domains. The program plays a pivotal role in shaping future leaders, equipping them with the tools to navigate the complexities of international business law and broaden their influence across diverse sectors.
This collaboration reflects Dubai’s commitment to providing top-tier educational opportunities and fostering a generation of leaders who can thrive in a rapidly evolving global landscape.
