Sharjah Woman 73 Fatally Struck by Reversing Truck in UAE

A tragic incident unfolded in Sharjah as a 73-year-old woman from Comoros Island lost her life in a devastating accident involving a municipality worker's truck. According to officials from the Sharjah Police, the unfortunate incident occurred at the woman's residence in the Al Sabka area on Wednesday morning.

Reports suggest that the woman was standing behind the truck when the driver, unaware of her presence, began to reverse the vehicle. Tragically, the driver accidentally struck the woman as he backed up. It was only upon hearing the anguished cries of her family members that the driver realized something was amiss.

The woman was swiftly rushed to the emergency section of Al Qasimi Hospital at approximately 11 a.m. However, despite the medical team's efforts, she was pronounced dead upon arrival.
