Sharjah Ruler Unveils Plans for Stadiums in Khorfakkan and Kalba

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, a revered member of the Supreme Council and the esteemed Ruler of Sharjah, recently addressed significant developments and initiatives during a phone call on Sharjah Radio and TV's "Direct Line" program. In this conversation with Mohammed Hassan Khalaf, Director General of the Sharjah Broadcasting Authority, His Highness underscored several key aspects, ranging from sporting achievements to cultural preservation and educational advancements.

Commending the performance of Sharjah's clubs in the ADNOC Pro League for the 2023–2024 season, His Highness expressed his admiration for their resilience and dedication. He extended congratulations to these clubs and announced plans to recognize their efforts with appropriate rewards. His Highness specifically mentioned Kalba Club, acknowledging their perseverance despite facing setbacks. As a gesture of support and encouragement, he pledged to provide Kalba Club with a stadium located on cooler mountain peaks, offering optimal conditions for sporting excellence.

Similarly, Khorfakkan Club was also assured of a new stadium in Khorfakkan City, strategically situated at an altitude of 900 feet to enhance the sporting infrastructure and opportunities in the region.
