Sharjah Ruler Hosts Members of Emirates Institute of Finance

His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, the Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, recently welcomed His Excellency Khaled Mohammed Belamah, Governor of the Central Bank and Chairman of the Board of the Emirates Institute of Finance, along with the institute's board members at the Dr. Sultan Al Qasimi Centre.

During the meeting, His Highness commended the board's efforts in advancing the banking and financial sector within the UAE. He praised their diligent follow-up on developmental initiatives and highlighted the positive impact of their employment programs and support for Emiratization, which contributes significantly to community development.

Sheikh Dr. Al Qasimi was briefed on the training programs offered in banking and financial services both in the UAE and the broader region. He expressed interest in the institute's strategies and plans designed to graduate students with the high-level skills necessary to meet the demands of the financial sector, aligning with the vision of the UAE's leadership.

The Ruler of Sharjah also reviewed periodic reports and statistics provided by the institute, which aim to prepare graduates for the job market effectively. He emphasized the importance of future plans that align with government directives, enhance Emiratization rates, and create an attractive environment within the banking sector for graduates.

In response, His Excellency Khaled Mohammed Belamah and the accompanying delegation expressed their heartfelt gratitude to Sheikh Dr. Al Qasimi for his warm reception and steadfast support. They acknowledged his continuous guidance, which plays a pivotal role in shaping the institute's strategies and contributes to the ongoing development of the financial and banking sectors in the UAE.
