The Sharjah Real Estate Registration Department disclosed that April witnessed a surge in real estate transactions, totaling Dh1.7 billion. This data underscores the growing confidence in Sharjah's real estate sector, highlighting its allure as an investment destination.
Breaking down the figures, the report revealed a total of 1,632 transactions, showcasing the diversity and vibrancy of the market. Sales transactions constituted 35.5% of the total, with 579 transactions recorded. Meanwhile, mortgage transactions amounted to 12.1%, totaling Dh402.2 million. The remaining 52.4% comprised other transactions.
These transactions spanned across 89 locations in Sharjah, encompassing residential, commercial, industrial, and agricultural properties. Notably, sales were conducted for various types of properties, including lands, tower units, and built-in lands.

In terms of regional distribution, the Muwailah Commercial area emerged as a hotspot for real estate activity, leading in both transaction volume and value. Noteworthy regions included Rawdat Al-Qart, Al Khan, and Hoshi. Muwailah Commercial topped the charts in trading value, followed closely by Al Saja’a Industrial, Tilal, and Hoshi.
Further analysis revealed that the Eastern and Central regions collectively accounted for 50 transactions, with Al Madina Al Qasimia leading the pack in transaction volume and value.
Overall, these robust real estate figures reflect Sharjah's resilience and attractiveness as an investment hub, bolstering its position as a top global destination for investors seeking lucrative opportunities in the property market.
