In a tragic incident in Sharjah, a dispute over Dhs600 led to a fatal altercation, highlighting how a small sum can have dire consequences. On Wednesday evening, a fatal attack occurred in one of Sharjah’s industrial areas, leaving the victim's family in deep sorrow.
The Sharjah Police General Command received an emergency call reporting a fatality and multiple injuries resulting from a quarrel. The confrontation involved three brothers and seven attackers, all of Asian nationality. The dispute, which revolved around the relatively modest amount of Dhs600, escalated into violence involving sticks and knives.
Upon arrival, police and National Ambulance teams found that the attackers had severely beaten the three brothers, resulting in the death of one and serious injury to another. The surviving injured brother was promptly transported to Al Qassimi Hospital. The attackers fled the scene following the assault.

Sharjah Police launched a swift investigation, gathering forensic evidence and conducting searches. Within two hours, they apprehended all seven suspects. The perpetrators admitted their involvement, detailing how the dispute over money led to the use of weapons during the attack.
The case has been handed over to the Industrial Comprehensive Police Station for further investigation, and the suspects are now in custody. The matter has been referred to the Public Prosecution for legal proceedings.
Sharjah Police emphasized the importance of resolving disputes through legal channels, urging the public to report any unresolved conflicts to ensure justice and maintain societal stability.
