On Monday morning, firefighting teams from the Sharjah Civil Defence Authority successfully extinguished a vehicle fire on a main road in the Industrial Area, ensuring that no injuries were reported. The Sharjah Police General Command's operations room received an alert at approximately 7:30 a.m. about a small vehicle engulfed in flames in the middle of the busy road.
In response to the emergency, civil defence vehicles, police patrols, and the National Ambulance were dispatched promptly to the scene. The Civil Defence team arrived swiftly and took immediate action to suppress the fire. They managed to bring the blaze under control and extinguish it within just two minutes of arriving.
After extinguishing the fire, the team focused on cooling down the area to prevent any potential rekindling of the flames. They also worked to remove the burned vehicle from the road, which helped to ensure the safety and smooth flow of surrounding traffic.
