Sharjah Mourns: Funeral Prayer for Sheikh Sultan bin Khalid

In a solemn gathering at King Faisal Mosque, Sharjah came together on Tuesday to bid farewell to the late Sheikh Sultan bin Khalid bin Mohammed Al Qasimi. The funeral prayer was led by His Highness Sheikh Dr Sultan bin Mohammed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, reflecting the deep respect and high regard for the departed leader.

Joining the Ruler of Sharjah were prominent members of the royal family, including His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Mohammed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Crown Prince and Deputy Ruler; His Highness Sheikh Abdullah bin Salem bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Deputy Ruler; and His Highness Sheikh Sultan bin Ahmed bin Sultan Al Qasimi, also Deputy Ruler.

The ceremony also saw the presence of senior officials and advisors, among them Sheikh Saud bin Khalid bin Sultan Al Qasimi, Sheikh Abdullah bin Mohammed Al Thani, and Sheikh Issam bin Saqr Al Qasimi. Leaders from key departments, including Sharjah Ports, Civil Aviation, Statistics and Community Development, and Sharjah Charity International, paid their respects alongside the extended Al Qasimi family.

Citizens and dignitaries filled the mosque, creating a unified atmosphere of grief and reverence. The gathering highlighted not only the prominence of Sheikh Sultan bin Khalid within the community but also the solidarity and devotion of the people of Sharjah toward their leaders.
