The IIFA Awards 2025 is creating a buzz in Jaipur as several Bollywood stars have arrived for the grand event. Big names like Shah Rukh Khan, Karan Johar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, and many others are in the Pink City for the much-awaited award ceremony. Before the main event, a special press conference was held, and fans witnessed an unexpected yet memorable moment – a reunion between Shahid Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan.

Shahid and Kareena, who were once one of Bollywood’s most talked-about couples, greeted each other warmly on stage. A video from the press conference has now gone viral, showing the ex-couple sharing a hug. After hugging Shahid, Kareena also greeted Karan Johar with the same warmth. The two actors exchanged a few words before other celebrities, including Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon, and Karan Johar, joined them on stage. This rare moment of the former couple meeting in public left fans in a frenzy.

As the video spread across social media, fans couldn’t stop reacting. One person commented, “Shahid looks so awkward!” while another simply wrote, “What?” Someone else said, “I can’t believe my eyes!” while another fan added, “Jab We Met again!” The reunion brought back memories of their famous film Jab We Met, making fans nostalgic.

Apart from Shahid and Kareena, several other stars, including Bobby Deol, Vijay Varma, Madhuri Dixit, and Shreya Ghoshal, were also spotted at the event.

Interestingly, in an old interview, Kareena shared that it was Shahid who convinced her to consider Jab We Met. She recalled him saying that the female lead’s role was amazing and she should take it. However, fate had other plans. By the time the film was released, Shahid and Kareena had already parted ways. The two went on separate journeys, but their film became an iconic love story.

For those who don’t know, Shahid and Kareena were in a relationship for several years before breaking up in 2006, just before Jab We Met hit the screens. Today, both have moved on in their lives. Shahid is happily married to Mira Rajput, and they have two kids, Misha and Zain. Kareena found love with Saif Ali Khan, and they are parents to two sons, Taimur and Jeh.

Even though their chapter as a couple ended long ago, this rare moment at IIFA 2025 reminded fans of their past and their unforgettable on-screen chemistry.
