Saudi Arabia has said yes to give 10,000 more Hajj spots to Pakistan. This good came after Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar, talked with the Saudi Foreign Minister, Prince Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud. These extra spots are for people from Pakistan who could not sign up for Hajj before the last date. This happened because of the strong request made by Ishaq Dar, with the support of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.

Before this, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had asked for a fast check into why the private Hajj quota was less. Because of this problem, many Pakistanis could not go for Hajj 2025. The Prime Minister made a team of three people to find out what went wrong and who made the mistake. The team has one person from the Cabinet Division, one from the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR), and one from Gilgit-Baltistan.

This team must tell what happened in three days. The Ministry of Religious Affairs is also being asked why they didn’t get the private Hajj quota on time, which left many people unsure and upset.

For 2025, the Hajj plan between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia says that better places to stay and lower prices will be given to the pilgrims, especially in Mina.

Also, the Ministry of Religious Affairs is bringing back a short Hajj trip like last year. This trip will last 20 to 25 days. Pilgrims can choose to stay in Madina for 4 to 8 days.

Each person going for Hajj will get a special bag. This bag will have a small Pakistani flag, a QR code for easy ID, and other helpful things.
