During the Dabangg Tour in Qatar, Salman Khan talked about his fitness journey and shared who has inspired him the most since the 1990s. He said Dharmendra’s photo was a motivation for many gym-goers.
On stage, Salman said, “Before me, there was only one person — Dharam ji. He is like a father to me. I love him and hope he will come back.”
The feeling is mutual. Dharmendra has called Salman his “third son,” showing their close bond. Fans remembered this when an old Bigg Boss clip resurfaced, where Dharmendra said, “This is my son. I have three sons — all emotional and strong, but he is a bit more on me,” making Salman and Bobby Deol laugh.
Dharmendra also praised Salman’s fun personality and dancing skills, saying he is colorful and loves dancing just like him.
Earlier this month, Salman was seen outside Mumbai’s Breach Candy Hospital, where Dharmendra was admitted. The 89-year-old actor was discharged on November 12 and is now recovering at home. Sunny Deol’s team asked fans and media to respect his privacy and thanked everyone for their love and prayers.
