Dubai's Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has unveiled a new free exit in Dubai Marina, set to significantly reduce travel time by an impressive 60 percent. The exit, located on Al Seba Street, provides motorists with a direct route towards the intersection of Qarn Al Sabkha Street, offering a smoother and more efficient journey.
This initiative forms part of RTA's ongoing efforts to alleviate congestion in key areas and enhance overall traffic flow across the emirate. The authority has been actively implementing various projects aimed at streamlining transportation and improving commuting experiences for residents and visitors alike.
In addition to the new Dubai Marina exit, RTA recently announced plans for dedicated bus lanes on six major streets, including Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, 2nd of December, Al Satwa, Al Nahda, Omar bin Al Khattab, and Naif. These projects, scheduled for completion between 2025 and 2027, are designed to optimize public transportation and reduce congestion on busy routes.

Furthermore, RTA has initiated the construction of five new flyovers along Dubai's Al Khail Road, representing a Dh700-million investment. Once completed, these flyovers are expected to slash travel time by 30 percent, offering motorists faster and more efficient routes across the city.
The ongoing efforts by RTA underscore the authority's commitment to enhancing Dubai's transportation infrastructure and creating a more seamless commuting experience for residents and visitors. Through strategic initiatives and infrastructure developments, RTA aims to address traffic challenges and support the emirate's continued growth and development.
