As part of its commitment to serving diverse regional markets, Resorts World Cruises will bring its renowned Asian hospitality to the Gulf, adapting its offerings to cater to local preferences. The Resorts World One will be certified as a Halal-Friendly Cruise Ship by the OIC/SMIIC*, ensuring that Muslim guests can enjoy certified Halal cuisine, with meats sourced from UAE suppliers. Additional Halal-Friendly amenities will include same-gender services in certain facilities, as well as certified vegetarian and Jain cuisine. Public announcements will be made in both English and Arabic, and shisha will be available onboard.

Mr. Michael Goh, President of Resorts World Cruises, expressed enthusiasm about the upcoming launch, stating, "These are exciting times as we prepare to set sail from Dubai on November 1 with Resorts World One. The positive response from the Gulf and various Asian markets, including from our travel partners, has been very encouraging. Our deployment in the Gulf will unlock new opportunities for Dubai as a premier cruise destination, boosting inbound and outbound travel in the cruise tourism sector."

Saud Mohammed Saeed Hareb, Cruise Tourism & Yachting Lead at the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism, highlighted the strategic importance of this partnership. "Cruise tourism continues to play a pivotal role in Dubai’s tourism industry growth, aligning with the goals of the Dubai Economic Agenda, D33. This collaboration with Resorts World Cruises is a testament to our commitment to offering diverse cruise experiences, reinforcing Dubai’s position as a leading global cruise hub. We look forward to welcoming the first passengers onboard Resorts World One and providing them with an unforgettable experience."

The launch of Resorts World One coincides with Diwali, a major festival in India and Asia, promising special celebrations onboard. Guests will experience a series of Diwali-themed activities, including a "Gujarat Food Festival," festive decorations, and entertainment. The cruise will also feature a range of vibrant parties, including the 'Dazzling Departure Party,' 'Twilight Soirée,' 'Enchanting Arabian Nights Party,' and 'Bollywood Party,' among others.

Guests can look forward to a variety of onboard activities, including dance classes, karaoke, and stage shows such as ‘Trustfall,’ ‘Rhythm & Balance,’ and ‘Love Matters.’ The ship will also offer exciting excursions to destinations like Sir Bani Yas Island, with its wildlife park and beautiful beaches; Oman’s Khasab and Muscat, known for their stunning landscapes and rich history; and Doha, Qatar, with its blend of traditional and modern attractions.

Khalid Al Azri, Director of the Tourism Trends Department at the Omani Ministry of Heritage and Tourism, emphasized the significance of this collaboration. "We are preparing to provide an exceptional experience for Resorts World Cruises in Khasab and Sultan Qaboos Ports, aligning with Oman’s future plans to operate 11 ports."

Maryam Saoud from Qatar Tourism echoed excitement about the debut of Resorts World Cruises in Doha. "We are eagerly anticipating the arrival of Resorts World One, and the 2024-2025 cruise season is set to be the largest yet, with many new and returning ships."

In addition to these developments, Resorts World Cruises has announced a new partnership with DP World, enhancing its operations at Port Rashid. The collaboration will focus on homeporting the Resorts World Cruises fleet at this major maritime hub.

The introduction of Resorts World One represents a significant expansion for Resorts World Cruises and underscores Dubai's growing prominence as a key player in the global cruise industry.
