Resorts World Cruises Kicks Off First Voyage from Dubai with Celebration

Resorts World Cruises has officially commenced its operations in Dubai, marking the beginning of a new era in Gulf cruising with the launch of the Resorts World One. The cruise ship, which can accommodate 1,800 passengers, set sail for the first time on November 1, 2024, from Port Rashid Cruise Terminal 2, with a schedule that includes three departures each week to various Gulf destinations.

To celebrate this significant milestone, Resorts World Cruises hosted a grand event onboard the ship, attended by nearly 600 guests, including regional dignitaries, industry authorities, media representatives, and key influencers. Mr. Michael Goh, President of Resorts World Cruises, along with senior management, welcomed attendees and highlighted the company’s commitment to delivering exceptional cruising experiences in the Gulf region.

The festivities included special presentations of commemorative mementos, live performances, and a showcase of the ship's diverse culinary offerings. Guests also enjoyed guided tours of the ship, which allowed them to explore its luxurious accommodations and extensive facilities.

In celebration of the inaugural sailing, Resorts World Cruises is offering attractive promotions for November sailings. Guests can receive onboard credits worth AED 700 (approximately US$190) per cabin, applicable for both the 3-Night Oman Cruise and the 2-Night Qatar Cruise.

The Resorts World One promises to provide exciting new weekend getaway options from Dubai. It features a 2-Night Sir Bani Yas Weekend Cruise departing every Friday, as well as a 2-Night Doha Cruise leaving on Wednesdays and a 3-Night Muscat-Khasab Cruise setting off on Sundays. For those seeking longer voyages, guests have the option to combine these itineraries for cruises lasting 4, 5, or even 7 nights.
