On January 3, 2025, PVR Cinemas and INOX Movies made the announcement on Instagram. They shared a new poster for Satya, confirming that it will be re-released in PVR INOX theaters on January 17. The post had a cool message: "The past can't be buried, and neither can the truth! Get ready to dive into the world of Satya once again at PVR INOX. Re-releasing at PVR INOX on Jan 17!"

After the announcement, many fans commented to show how excited they were. One fan said, “One of my favorite underworld movies,” while another commented, “Now we're talking cinema,” and many others said they couldn’t wait to watch the film again in theaters.

Satya was first released in 1998 and had a great cast, including J. D. Chakravarthy, Urmila Matondkar, Manoj Bajpayee, Saurabh Shukla, Aditya Shrivastava, and Paresh Rawal. The film was directed and produced by Ram Gopal Varma, with the screenplay written by Saurabh Shukla and Anurag Kashyap. The movie was a big hit and won many awards.
