Sunanda further revealed that she went through a very dark phase in her life due to Pinky Dhaliwal. She said, "I was so mentally disturbed that I would go to my room and cry for hours. There were times when I even thought of ending my life, but still, I kept smiling in front of people. I did not want anyone to see my pain."

This is our time, this is our hard work, and we deserve its fruits. The government is always with women, and we should not stay silent."

Sunanda Sharma also thanked Punjab's Chief Minister, Bhagwant Mann, for listening to her pain and taking quick action against Pinky Dhaliwal. In her caption, she wrote, "A big thank you to CM Bhagwant Mann for understanding my pain and giving importance to my words. He not only listened to me but also stood up for every girl who couldn't speak for herself."
