On Tuesday, Punjab's Chief Minister, Bhagwant Mann, strongly condemned the terror attack on tourists in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. He called the attack "shameful" and "cowardly," saying it was deeply wrong to target innocent people. In a post on social media, the CM said, "Targeting unarmed innocents is an attack on humanity. The whole country stands together in this time of sorrow. Our thoughts and condolences are with the families of the victims, and we strongly condemn all forms of terrorism."
The terror attack took place in Pahalgam, a popular tourist spot in Kashmir. At least 26 people were killed, and around 20 were injured when terrorists opened fire on a group of tourists. The attack happened in a beautiful meadow, where many people were enjoying their afternoon. The dead included two foreign nationals and two local people.
