Trump’s potential return to the White House comes after a stunning Republican win in battleground states, a dramatic reversal from the 2020 election results. In his victory speech, Trump declared it a “magnificent victory for the American people” and reflected on his survival of a July assassination attempt, noting, “God spared my life for a reason.”

He described the Republican campaign as the “greatest political movement of all time” and pledged to focus on healing the nation, securing the borders, and achieving political greatness. He thanked Americans for their trust and promised to fight for their families with every breath in his body.

In addition to the presidency, Republicans have taken control of the Senate and are leading in the House of Representatives, making their victory even more significant.
