Philadelphia Shooting Wounds 7, Police Report

Seven people were wounded in a shooting incident that took place on Wednesday evening in Philadelphia, as confirmed by local police. The shooting occurred shortly before 6:30 p.m. in the North Philadelphia area.

According to authorities, the victims of the shooting included a 19-year-old man who suffered a gunshot wound to the leg, a 31-year-old woman who was shot in the hand, and a 23-year-old man who sustained a gunshot wound to the buttock. Additionally, two women, aged 47 and 29, were injured with gunshot wounds to their thighs. A 16-year-old girl was treated for two graze wounds, while an 18-year-old woman also sustained injuries in the incident.

Fortunately, all of the victims were reported to be in stable condition following the shooting.

Police have disclosed that no firearms were recovered at the scene, and at present, no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting. Investigators are actively working to gather additional details and determine the circumstances that led to the incident.

The shooting has prompted heightened concern and attention from local authorities and community members, with efforts underway to ensure public safety and address any potential risks associated with the incident.
