In a shocking incident reported by ARY News, a woman and her teenage daughter in Pakistan were reportedly bricked into a wall by their own relatives amidst a bitter property dispute. The harrowing ordeal unfolded in Hyderabad's Latifabad No 5 area, where the victims, facing alleged harassment from their brother-in-law Suhail and his sons, were confined inside a room. The situation escalated when the perpetrators sealed them in by constructing a wall outside, effectively trapping them.
The woman, recounting the traumatic experience, revealed that Suhail had been harassing them and withholding crucial documents related to their house. The incident came to light when concerned neighbors and the police intervened, breaking down the wall to rescue the trapped victims.
Authorities have swiftly responded, registering a case against the accused. Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP) Dr. Farrukh Linjar has assured that legal actions will be taken against those responsible for this appalling act of confinement.

In a separate but equally tragic incident on May 24, violence erupted in Peshawar's Chamkani area over a property dispute, resulting in the tragic deaths of at least five individuals. According to police sources, the conflict escalated into a shootout between two rival factions, marking a grim escalation in their longstanding feud.
Police have initiated an FIR (First Information Report), highlighting the ongoing tensions and the need for robust legislative measures to prevent unauthorized building projects and effectively manage personal disputes that often escalate into such violent confrontations. Local authorities are actively reviewing legislation to enforce property rights more effectively and enhance conflict resolution mechanisms, aiming to prevent future tragedies of similar nature.
