Dubai’s parking areas managed by Parkin will have new parking rates starting from April 4. These rates will change based on busy (peak) and quiet (off-peak) hours of the day.

The rates for off-peak hours, which are from 10 AM to 4 PM and 8 PM to 10 PM, will stay the same. These will follow the current parking rates, according to Parkin. Also, these rates won’t apply on Sundays or public holidays.

Why the Change?

Parkin introduced these new rates to help manage parking better in busy areas of Dubai. By adjusting the rates based on busy and quiet times, it is expected to reduce traffic jams, especially in crowded areas and during big events in the city. This plan is meant to make traffic flow more smoothly and keep the city organized.

Earlier this year, Parkin also started charging Dh25 per hour for parking near exhibition centers and event venues when big events were happening.

So, starting April 4, if you are parking in any of the areas managed by Parkin, be sure to check the new rates depending on when and where you park!
