New Documentary Highlights UAE’s Humanitarian Support for Gaza War Victims

A new documentary called Hope Remains shows the important role the UAE has played in helping people affected by the war in Gaza.

The film was made by the International Humanitarian and Philanthropic Council and was first shown on the Discovery Channel. It shares real stories of people who have received aid from the UAE and explains how the country has supported the people of Palestine during this difficult time.

The documentary also includes interviews with aid workers who have been part of this humanitarian effort, giving viewers a closer look at the challenges and hope involved in the relief work.

Hope Remains highlights how the world appreciates the UAE’s ongoing help in Gaza. It shows the country’s spirit of generosity and care for others.

Between October 2023 and November 2024, the UAE provided 42 percent of all humanitarian aid sent to Gaza, which totals $828 million. This shows how much the country has contributed to supporting those in need.

The documentary will be available in both Arabic and English on the Council’s social media channels and on national TV throughout June.

Last year, the same Council released another series called On the Frontline. That series focused on the UAE’s humanitarian work not only in Gaza but also within the UAE and in Egypt. It showed how the country has been actively helping Palestinian people during tough times.
