The Moroccan Agency of International Cooperation (AMCI) has recently unveiled a promising opportunity for Pakistani students seeking higher education. The agency announced scholarships for Pakistani students to pursue undergraduate, master’s, and PhD programs at public institutions in Morocco for the academic year 2024-25.
According to a statement issued by the Higher Education Commission (HEC), interested candidates can apply for these scholarships through the HEC portal until May 10, which falls on a Friday. The HEC emphasized the importance of carefully reviewing all instructions before submitting the online application, advising applicants to complete the process well before the deadline.

Notably, the application process does not require hard copies of documents at this stage, streamlining the process for aspiring scholars. To be eligible for these scholarships, applicants must be Pakistani or Azad Jammu and Kashmir nationals, or permanent residents of Pakistan or AJK. However, individuals holding dual nationality are not eligible to apply for these scholarships.
This initiative by the AMCI opens doors for Pakistani students to access quality education opportunities abroad, fostering cultural exchange and strengthening educational ties between Morocco and Pakistan. It represents a significant step towards promoting international cooperation in the field of education and empowering students to pursue their academic aspirations on a global platform.
