Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment Partners with Emirates Down Syndrome Association for Inclusion

The Mohammed Bin Rashid Housing Establishment (MBRHE) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Emirates Down Syndrome Association (EDSA) to bolster cooperation in supporting and empowering people of determination. This partnership underscores MBRHE's dedication to fostering social responsibility and enhancing the quality of life for various societal segments, particularly those with disabilities.

The MoU aims to develop and implement collaborative programs focused on empowering people of determination. Key initiatives will include workshops and training sessions designed to equip them with the skills necessary for successful integration into the corporate workforce. Additionally, the agreement outlines plans for awareness campaigns to educate the public about disability issues and the rights of people of determination.

The MoU was officially signed by Mr. Thilal Khalifa Al Falasi, Assistant CEO of the Corporate Support Sector at MBRHE, and Dr. Manal Jaroor, Chairperson of the Emirates Down Syndrome Association. During the signing ceremony, Mr. Thilal Al Falasi expressed pride in the collaboration, emphasizing that this partnership signifies a strong commitment to supporting all societal segments, especially individuals with disabilities.

“This initiative goes beyond just signing a memorandum; it represents a crucial step towards fostering a more inclusive community,” Al Falasi stated. “We firmly believe in the significance of empowering people of determination and ensuring their active participation in social and economic life. Through this partnership, we aim to make a long-lasting positive impact and enhance our efforts in creating a supportive environment for individuals of determination.”

Dr. Manal Jaroor highlighted the value of the cooperation with MBRHE, asserting that this partnership will significantly bolster efforts to serve and empower people of determination. She noted the intention to develop innovative programs that address various aspects of their lives.

The MoU is set to enhance knowledge exchange between MBRHE and EDSA, allowing both organizations to adopt best global practices in supporting people of determination. This collaboration aligns with the UAE's ongoing initiatives to achieve social integration and create an inclusive community environment, reflecting the nation's commitment to embracing diversity and empowering all its citizens.
