Mansoor bin Mohammed Celebrates UAE's Pride in Its People on 53rd Eid Al Etihad

Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, who is the Chairman of the Dubai Sports Council, said that the 53rd Eid Al Etihad is a special time to remember the UAE's Founding Fathers. He spoke about how the UAE has grown thanks to the wisdom of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and Sheikh Rashid bin Saeed Al Maktoum. Both leaders always believed that the country’s real wealth is in its people.

Sheikh Mansoor congratulated His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the President of the UAE, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, along with other leaders of the Emirates. He said that Eid Al Etihad shows how the UAE’s leaders and people are united and share the same goals. He added that the UAE’s success comes from knowing that investing in people is the key to a strong society.

Sheikh Mansoor also looked back on the UAE’s growth. He said that December 2, 1971, was the day the country became united. Since then, the UAE has been working hard to build a better future. He mentioned that sports have always been important to the country because they help build strong communities.

He talked about how the UAE, with its modern sports facilities and training centers, has become famous for hosting big sports events and attracting top athletes. He also mentioned that the country works hard to protect and support traditional sports that are part of its culture.

Sheikh Mansoor also shared the UAE’s future goals with the National Sports Strategy 2031. This plan is meant to improve sports in the country and help the UAE achieve its bigger goals for 2071. He promised that the UAE will continue to follow the vision of its leaders and work hard to do even better in the future.

He is sure that the UAE will continue to grow, be successful, and always work toward making life better for its people.
