Following the tragic Red Fort blast in Delhi, India’s Miss Universe 2025 representative Manika Vishwakarma expressed grief and solidarity with the victims and their families. The model took to Instagram on November 11, writing she was “speechless and heartbroken” over the devastating incident that shook the nation.
Heartfelt Message for Delhi and the Nation
In her message, Manika wrote,
“To my fellow Indians, to my dear Delhi, and to every family touched by the recent, heartbreaking blast, today, my heart is heavy, and my spirit mourns with you. The news of the bomb blast in our beloved national capital has sent a wave of shock and profound sorrow across the country.”
She extended prayers for those who lost loved ones and wished a speedy recovery for the injured. The beauty queen also praised the bravery of first responders and the resilience of Delhi’s people, saying their strength reflects the unbreakable spirit of India.
“We Will Heal, Together”
Manika, who was crowned Miss Universe India 2025 earlier this year, emphasised that her title carries a deeper purpose.
“For me, wearing the crown of Miss Universe India is a profound responsibility. It is a platform to speak for unity, peace, and compassion, especially when our collective heart is breaking. I use that voice today to say: we will not be divided. We will care for one another. We will heal, together.”
She urged citizens to choose unity over fear and hope over despair, calling on everyone to honour the victims by staying strong and united as a nation.
Manika Vishwakarma was crowned Miss Universe India 2025 on August 18, 2025. Representing India on the global stage, she will compete at the 74th Miss Universe pageant in Thailand on November 21, 2025.
Known for her grace and thoughtful words, Manika continues to inspire fans with her empathy and sense of national pride — reminding everyone that compassion and unity define India’s true beauty.
