KABUL: On Saturday, Afghanistan experienced a seismic event measuring 4.5 on the Richter scale, as reported by the National Center for Seismology (NCS). The earthquake, with a depth of 120 km, occurred at 6:16 am (IST).

The NCS shared details of the earthquake via its official channel, stating, "EQ of M: 4.5, On: 11/05/2024 06:16:30 IST, Lat: 36.39 N, Long: 71.14 E, Depth: 120 Km, Location: Afghanistan."
