At the discussion, Madhuri spoke about how women in films still do not get equal pay. She said, “Women have to prove themselves again and again. We have to show that we are equal, that we can bring people to watch movies. But we have to prove it every time. There is still a big gap, and we have a long way to go. We must work every day to change this.”

Her words touched many people because this has been a big issue for years. Even though things are getting better, women in the film industry still struggle to get the same pay and respect as men.
