Reflecting on the incident, Kumal recounted the urgency he felt while traversing through knee-high floodwaters, fearing potential damage to his vehicle and subsequent entrapment. While Al Khan Interchange began to regain its composure, Jamal Abdul Nasir Street remained submerged, prompting continuous efforts by trucks to expel the lingering water.

In neighboring Dubai, the repercussions of driving without a plate or with a damaged one carry significant financial penalties, potentially amounting to fines of up to Dh3,000 and a staggering 23 black points. To address the predicament of lost plates, motorists can avail themselves of the Dubai Police app, facilitating the application process for a lost certificate. Requirements include a letter in Arabic from a relevant entity detailing the circumstances of the loss, alongside pertinent identification documents such as the Emirates ID, passport, and email address.

Navigating the bureaucratic maze incurs nominal fees, with Dh70 allocated for service and knowledge charges, supplemented by an additional Dh100 for in-person submissions at service centers.
