The Life Endowment campaign, started by the Endowments and Minors Funds Authority (Awqaf Abu Dhabi), has raised AED 509 million from 93,000 people just two weeks after it began. This campaign helps patients with long-term illnesses and People of Determination.
The campaign’s slogan is “With You For Life,” and it supports the UAE Year of Community, announced by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.
Many contributors helped raise this large amount of money. These include individuals, companies, and organizations from both the government and private sectors. Their support will help the campaign reach its important goals. The money raised will be used to improve healthcare services, cover treatment costs, and support patients with chronic diseases and People of Determination.

This strong support shows how much the UAE community cares about helping others, especially those who do not have easy access to medical treatment. It highlights the kindness and responsibility people feel towards helping these patients.
His Excellency Fahad Abdul Qader Al Qassim, Director General of Awqaf Abu Dhabi, said the Life Endowment campaign is a major step in charity work in the UAE. It sets an example for how to help patients with chronic diseases and People of Determination. He added that the campaign shows the generosity of the UAE community and reflects the country’s long history of charity and humanitarian efforts. These efforts are based on working together, planning for the long term, and making sure support lasts for those who need it.
Al Qassim also said, “The big donations we have received since the campaign started show how committed the UAE community is to helping humanitarian causes. The strong response to the Life Endowment campaign shows real care for people with chronic diseases and People of Determination. The steady flow of donations from many sources proves that endowments are an important part of our society and help create lasting support.”
The campaign invests the money it receives to make more funds that go toward healthcare programs and treatments for chronic disease patients and People of Determination. This way, the campaign can keep supporting healthcare services for a long time and make the biggest possible impact.
The Life Endowment campaign also aims to bring back the idea of endowments as a powerful way to help develop communities, bring people together, and encourage many to take part. It shows the strong humanitarian role of the UAE community and the people’s ongoing commitment to making a positive difference in society.
