Kuwait Housing Authority inks contract for Al-Mutlaa public buildings

The Public Authority for Housing Welfare (PAHW) has sealed two significant contracts valued at KD 42.468 million (USD 140 million) for the construction of public buildings within the emerging Al-Metlaa residential area.

In an announcement made on Wednesday, the Authority emphasized its commitment to utilizing high-quality materials for these new structures. This commitment underscores their dedication to meeting all requirements of the citizens transitioning to their newly constructed homes in the region.

Among the forthcoming facilities are nurseries, stores, and two schools, alongside a variety of other commercial outlets. Additionally, ongoing projects by the authority encompass a medical center, a supermarket, a police station, a municipal building, a postal office, and more.

With electric power already linked to 109 buildings within the district, the Authority highlights its continuous efforts to establish all essential amenities for the burgeoning residential area. Al-Metlaa, situated north of Kuwait City and characterized by its hilly terrain, stands as one of Kuwait's latest large-scale housing endeavors.
