King Charles III is celebrating his 77th birthday today, November 14, 2025. This year, the King is keeping the celebration simple, with no big public events. Even after his cancer diagnosis earlier this year, he continues to stay active, careful, and healthy. One of the main reasons is his clean and disciplined eating routine.
King Charles has always believed in eating natural, organic, and locally grown food. He also strongly supports sustainable farming. His healthy food choices help him stay energetic, even when he has a busy royal schedule.
According to a 2019 report and former royal chefs, the King has a very special way of eating breakfast. He even carries his own food hamper when he travels or visits Buckingham Palace. Former royal chef Darren McGrady shared that King Charles used to arrive with jars of his own produce, such as bottled plums from his Highgrove garden.
Another former royal chef, Graham Newbould, explained that the King is very particular about his food hamper. While other members of the royal family enjoy a heavy English breakfast at Balmoral, King Charles chooses a lighter and healthier option.
His daily breakfast includes homemade bread, a bowl of fresh fruits, fresh fruit juices, and many natural foods. Wherever he goes in the world, his breakfast box also travels with him. This box contains six kinds of honey, special muesli, dried fruits, and other items he prefers. These foods help him start his day with energy and support his long-term health.
As King Charles turns 77, people across the world are sending him warm wishes. His simple and clean eating habits show how much he values good health, even with his busy life and royal duties.
