This new centre is a big step to help Abu Dhabi become a world leader in health. Since Abu Dhabi is close to many other countries, the new centre will make it faster and easier to send vaccines to those places. It will also help keep health supplies moving safely and on time.
This centre started after an agreement was made last year between the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi and a large medicine company called GSK. This agreement helps make Abu Dhabi a top place for medicine work, health delivery, and sickness prevention.
Sheikh Khaled said it is very important to work with strong health companies. These partnerships help make new vaccines, do more health studies, and build safe places to store and send vaccines. This will help make sure everyone can get the vaccines they need, which keeps people safe and healthy.
He also thanked the teams who are working hard to build more vaccine centres and help with vaccine shots for all people. He said this work proves that Abu Dhabi has a strong and ready health system. This system can handle health problems now and in the future.
At the event, many top government leaders were also there. They all showed their support for the new centre and agreed that it is good for the future of health in the region and the world.
Mr. Mansoor Al Mansoori, who leads the Department of Health – Abu Dhabi, said this centre is more than just a building. It is a key part of a strong and smart health plan. It will help people get life-saving vaccines more quickly. He said Abu Dhabi wants to lead the world in good health changes.
Mr. Ahmed Al Zaabi, who leads the Department of Economic Development, said this centre is a big part of Abu Dhabi’s dream to become a leader in health and science. He said Abu Dhabi is working with both government and private companies to build a smart health system. This system will help today and also help in the future.
Sir Jonathan Symonds, from the GSK company, said his team wants to help protect people’s health. He said the new centre is an important link in the global vaccine system. By using GSK’s health knowledge and Abu Dhabi’s delivery system, more people can get the vaccines they need on time.
With Abu Dhabi’s strong transport system and GSK’s science, this new centre will help bring more medicine and vaccines to people in the region. It will make the health system stronger and help more people live healthy lives.
Many other important groups also came to the event. These include Rafed, PureHealth, Abu Dhabi Ports, Etihad Airways, Abu Dhabi Airports, and Khalifa Economic Zones. Their support shows that many people are working together to help health grow better in the region and around the world.
