Khaled bin Mohamed Meets Top Chinese Industry Leaders

Abu Dhabi: His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, held a series of high-level meetings with chairmen and executives of leading Chinese companies across key sectors, reinforcing the UAE-China comprehensive strategic partnership.

The discussions focused on expanding economic collaboration and exploring new opportunities for sustainable development across industries such as energy, petrochemicals, biopharmaceuticals, advanced technology, renewable energy, and electronics.

During his meeting with Dai Houliang, Chairman of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC), both sides explored ways to enhance cooperation in the energy sector. Key topics included clean energy solutions, strengthening supply chains, and supporting regional and global energy security.

In a separate meeting with Liao Zengtai, Chairman of Wanhua Chemical Group, discussions centered on boosting cooperation in the manufacturing sector. Emphasis was placed on leveraging advanced technologies to improve operational efficiency and promote industrial sustainability.

The Crown Prince also met with Eric Tse, CEO of Sino Biopharmaceutical Limited, to discuss collaboration in the biopharmaceutical sector. The talks highlighted opportunities in research and development, including the integration of artificial intelligence and advanced scientific solutions to enhance healthcare systems and pharmaceutical security at regional and global levels.

Additionally, His Highness held talks with Robin Zeng Yuqun, Founder and CEO of Contemporary Amperex Technology Co., Limited (CATL), a global leader in lithium-ion battery technology. The discussions focused on advancing energy efficiency, strengthening knowledge exchange in battery manufacturing, supporting smart mobility solutions, and contributing to Net Zero goals.

These meetings reflect the UAE’s continued commitment to strengthening its strategic partnership with China, driving innovation, and fostering sustainable economic growth across key global sectors.
