The council looked at a plan called the Abu Dhabi Customer Experience Strategy. This plan, made with help from over 65 government groups, focuses on making services better for people and businesses. It uses smart ideas and tools to make sure services are faster and easier to use. The plan also trains workers to provide better help to the public.
The meeting also talked about how the Abu Dhabi Strategy for People of Determination is helping people with special needs. Since 2020, this strategy has done many good things, like building 226 parks and public spaces where everyone can go. It has made hotels and tourist spots easier to visit and helped more children with special needs go to private and charter schools, with 13,000 students already included.
This strategy, led by the Department of Community Development, works with different groups to make life better for People of Determination. It focuses on giving them the same chances as everyone else in jobs, schools, and healthcare.
His Highness Sheikh Khaled said the UAE is committed to helping People of Determination and making sure they are a part of the country’s success. He announced a new award called the Abu Dhabi Excellence Award for People of Determination Inclusion. This award will honor groups that create better services and spaces for people with special needs, like schools, hospitals, and workplaces.
The meeting also approved a big plan to improve technology in Abu Dhabi. The Abu Dhabi Government Digital Strategy 2025-2027 will invest AED13 billion to make the city’s services smarter and faster. This plan will use artificial intelligence (AI) to make government services better by 2027. It also aims to make all government processes digital, saving time and money.
This new technology plan is expected to add AED24 billion to Abu Dhabi’s economy and create 5,000 new jobs. It will help make services easier for people to use, attract businesses from around the world, and make Abu Dhabi a leader in technology.
His Highness Sheikh Khaled said using smart technology is very important for making the government better and keeping Abu Dhabi strong in the world. He also said the city must keep working hard to stay ready for the future and create a better life for everyone.
The meeting showed Abu Dhabi’s focus on helping all people, using technology to grow, and making the city a better place to live.
