Jacqueline Fernandez's mom, Kim, in ICU; actress rushes home: Report

Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez’s mother, Kim Fernandez, has been admitted to the ICU, according to recent reports. The actress, who was busy with her professional commitments, has put everything on hold and rushed home to be with her family during this difficult time.

As per a report by Times Now, Jacqueline immediately flew back home after hearing about her mother’s health condition. While the exact details of Kim’s current condition are not known, the family is hoping for a steady recovery.

This is not the first time Kim Fernandez has faced health issues. Back in 2022, she suffered a stroke and was hospitalized in Bahrain, where she lives in the capital city, Manama. She received medical care there and recovered, but her recent hospitalization has once again left the family deeply concerned.

In an earlier interview with India TV, Jacqueline spoke about the close bond she shares with her mother. She expressed how much she misses her family, as she lives independently due to her work. Despite the distance, she finds strength in her mother’s love and constant support.

On the work front, Jacqueline has several upcoming projects. She will soon be seen in Welcome to the Jungle, directed by Ahmed Khan. The movie, which is backed by producers Jyoti Deshpande and Firoz A. Nadiadwallah, has a star-studded cast, including Akshay Kumar, Arshad Warsi, Suniel Shetty, Raveena Tandon, Paresh Rawal, Disha Patani, Lara Dutta, Tusshar Kapoor, Shreyas Talpade, Johnny Lever, Kiku Sharda, Rajpal Yadav, Mika Singh, and more.

In addition to this, Jacqueline will also appear in Housefull 5, the next installment of the popular comedy franchise. This time, the movie is expected to have a thrilling twist, with a storyline reportedly centered around a mysterious murder on a cruise ship. Directed by Tarun Mansukhani and produced by Sajid Nadiadwala, the film is set to release in theaters on June 6, 2025.
