ISPR: Four terrorists neutralized in Tank IBO operation.

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan's security forces achieved a significant victory in their ongoing battle against terrorism, as they successfully neutralized four terrorists during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Tank district. The operation, conducted on the night of April 28 to April 29, 2024, targeted a reported terrorist hideout in the area.

According to a statement from the Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR), the security forces engaged the terrorists' location effectively, resulting in the elimination of four terrorists. The operation also led to the recovery of weapons and ammunition believed to be in possession of the terrorists. These militants were reportedly involved in various terrorist activities within the district.

Residents of the area expressed their appreciation for the swift and decisive action taken by the security forces. The operation reflects the continued commitment of Pakistan's armed forces to eradicate the scourge of terrorism from the country, ensuring the safety and security of its citizens.

This successful operation comes on the heels of another significant encounter reported by the ISPR just a day prior. In Dera Ismail Khan District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, security forces engaged in a fierce exchange of fire with militants, resulting in the neutralization of two terrorists involved in target killing and extortion activities.

The operation in Dera Ismail Khan, conducted on April 28, saw the successful elimination of terrorist Faheem Nawaz alias Gandapuri and terrorist Mohsin Nawaz. Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from the militants, who posed a significant threat to both security forces and civilians through their involvement in various terrorist activities.

These operations underscore the relentless efforts of Pakistan's security forces to combat terrorism and maintain peace and stability in the region.
