The Indonesian President posted a video of his call with Trump, sharing the conversation on social media. In the clip, Prabowo expressed his eagerness to personally congratulate Trump, saying, "Wherever you are, I'm willing to fly to congratulate you personally, sir." Trump responded warmly, saying, "We'll do that, anytime you want."

According to Prabowo's office, the call took place on Monday after he had arrived in Washington, though no official confirmation was given regarding a potential in-person meeting between Prabowo and Trump. During the call, Trump remarked on his “amazing” election victory, describing it as historically significant and claiming, "We had tremendous success. The most successful in over 100 years, they say." He also praised Prabowo’s command of English, to which the Indonesian President responded, "All my training is American, sir," referencing his military background and ties with the U.S.

In a serious moment during the call, Prabowo expressed his shock and relief over Trump’s survival of a recent assassination attempt that occurred during his campaign. Trump acknowledged the incident, stating, "Yes, I got very lucky. I just happened to be in the right place with the right direction, otherwise, I wouldn't be talking to you right now."

In addition to his interactions with U.S. political figures, Prabowo also met with representatives from major U.S. corporations, including Freeport McMoRan and Chevron, encouraging them to expand their investments in Indonesia.
