The Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025 tournament starts on November 14 in Doha. India A will play their first match against the United Arab Emirates. Led by captain Jitesh Sharma, the team features several young players who have impressed in domestic cricket and the IPL. After winning the inaugural Emerging Stars Asia Cup in 2013, India aims to regain the trophy in this revamped T20 event.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi – Young Batting Sensation

Vaibhav Suryavanshi, just 14 years old, has earned a place in India A after a stellar IPL 2025 season. Playing for Rajasthan Royals, he scored the fastest century by an Indian in only 35 balls. Suryavanshi also made headlines in domestic cricket, scoring a 58-ball century for Bihar in the Ranji Trophy. He is fearless with the bat and is expected to be one of the standout performers in the tournament.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi Stats

  • T20s: 8 matches, 265 runs, highest 101, average 33.12, strike rate 207.03

Priyansh Arya – Explosive Left-Handed Batter

Priyansh Arya, 24, made an impact in IPL 2025 playing for Punjab Kings. He became the fastest uncapped player to score a century, reaching 100 in 39 balls. Arya also excelled in the Delhi Premier League 2024, scoring 576 runs in 8 innings. Known for his aggressive batting, including hitting six sixes in one over, Arya adds firepower to India A’s middle order.

Suyash Sharma – Promising Spinner

Suyash Sharma, 22, is a mystery spinner who made his mark in the IPL. In his debut 2023 season, he took three crucial wickets against Royal Challengers Bangalore for just 30 runs. Despite not having first-class experience before his IPL debut, Suyash has shown his talent with the ball and is ready to make a difference in the Rising Stars tournament.

Suyash Sharma Stats

Other India A players expected to make an impact include Harsh Dubey and Abhishek Porel. Harsh Dubey took 69 wickets for Vidarbha in the 2024-25 Ranji Trophy, setting a record for most wickets in a single season. Abhishek Porel, a 23-year-old wicketkeeper-batter, has shown explosive batting power in the IPL and could step in if captain Jitesh Sharma is unavailable.

India A’s squad for the Asia Cup Rising Stars 2025 combines youth, talent, and aggressive T20 skills. With stars like Suryavanshi, Arya, and Suyash Sharma, the team looks ready to challenge the competition and possibly secure India’s first trophy in this format in 12 years.
