In his review, Allay met with SGMB directors and event organizers to assess the latest developments and ensure that all arrangements are proceeding as planned. He emphasized that this year's forum, themed "Agile Governments... Innovative Communication," is poised to welcome over 250 global guests and speakers. The event will feature more than 160 activities, including main and side sessions, keynote speeches, pre-forum events, and specialized workshops. These elements are designed to highlight the UAE’s prowess in staging major global events and to address the evolving challenges and opportunities in government communication.
Pre-forum activities have already commenced and will continue up until the event’s conclusion on September 5. These activities include training programs on a range of crucial topics in communication and media. Subjects covered will include the latest technological advancements such as artificial intelligence and the metaverse, essential skills for succeeding in the job market, and strategies for creating impactful and credible media content.
The 13th IGCF aims to bolster the role of government communication in promoting resilient and sustainable societies, emphasizing the importance of effective dialogue between governments and their citizens amid digital transformation. The forum will bring together leading figures from both the public and private sectors, alongside communication and media experts from around the world. The goal is to explore new opportunities and generate critical recommendations that will shape the future of government communication.
